Attention, Foodies: Yabu Adds New Curry Dishes to Menu

Yabu, home of authentic Japanese tonkatsu, takes Japanese cuisine a step further as it presents Kazuya Katsu Curry, and Curry Cheese Gyoza, the newest additions to its menu.

Crafted by Michelin Bib Gourmand-starred chef Kazuya Takeda, the Kazuya Katsu Curry features a full-bodied meaty curry made with a harmonious blend of spices.

Loaded with bold and comforting flavors, this curry pairs perfectly with Yabu’s signature katsu—choose from Hire, Rosu, Menchi, Chicken, Hire Kurobuta, and Rosu Kurobuta.

Curry, which was initially introduced to England during its colonization of India, came to Japan during the Meiji era, at a time when India was under the colonial rule of the British Raj.

As a culinary pastime, curry has developed into one of Japan’s most beloved meals, eaten at least once a week on average.

Both dishes featuring the new Kazuya Curry, launch across all Yabu stores this Saturday, July 13, 2019. Stores are located at SM Megamall, SM Southmall, SM The Block, Alabang Town Center, Glorietta 2, Robinson’s Magnolia, Robinson’s Place Manila, Powerplant Mall, UP Town Center, SM Mall of Asia, Robinson’s Galleria, Ayala Malls Vertis North, and Ayala Malls Feliz.
