Just a few days before January ended, fast-food giant KFC announced one of their most sinful dishes yet, a limited-edition sandwich born from the partnership with snack-chip Cheetos. Orange you excited? Calm down, because it’s only in America, folks.
The Cheetos Sandwich is a hand-breaded, extra crispy chicken fillet that’s coated with special Cheetos sauce, then placed on a toasted bun loaded with mayo and a layer of crunchy chips.
A spokesperson from KFC described how the sandwich delivers a ‘blast of craveable Cheetos in every bite’. They also shared, “Since both have a dedicated fan base, it only made sense to merge these two iconic brands together to provide an irresistible and flavorful sandwich that gives the best of both worlds.”
The new food item is still testing the waters so it’s only available in select US branches, namely Greensboro and Raleigh, North Carolina; Greenville, Georgia; Richmond and Roanoke, Virginia.
There are no news whether the sandwich will be released nationwide or internationally.
