General’s Lechon Is Coming to the Fort

A lot of Filipinos are excited for the television series, the General’s Daughter, but we’re more excited for General’s Lechon! One of the tastiest lechon in the country is opening shop in The Food Hall of Uptown Mall, Bonifacio.

The place specializes in Negrense recipes, specifically from Negros Occidental. For those unfamiliar with how yummy their roasted pig is, well, every bite is a consistent burst of flavors. Let’s just say if the crispy, golden-brown skin doesn’t send your palate to paradise, then the herby-garlicky meat will.

There are four variants of lechon namely Original, Garlic, Chili-Garlic, and Spicy Curry.

Aside from lechon, they also serve other Filipino-Spanish dishes like caldereta, callos, and mechado.

Currently, there are three branches in Metro Manila, one in Makati, Parañaque, and Alabang. The Uptown Mall branch is set to launch in March.
