London Gets Whisky Vending Machine. Neat!

The Evva Whisky Vending Machine saw the light of day in the ’60s, at the Second Automatic Vending Exhibition in London. Decades later, the Napoleon Hotel introduces a single-malt whisky vending machine courtesy of the whisky subscription service Whisky-Me.

Founded by Black Rock, one of the hotel bars, the subscription offers a $9 1.7-ounce pouch of exclusive single malt through mail. Starting November to the end of December, you don’t have to be a subscriber to have a fix of their drinks.

The machine provides some whiskies sent out by the subscription such as Macallan, Aberfeldy, and Royal Lochnagar, as well as a special “birthday” variety in celebration of Whisky-Me’s first anniversary.

It is located just outside, and you can grab a pouch from 10AM to 2PM, daily. Before accessing the machine however, you must first go to their other bar the Devil’s Darling, to buy a vending machine token from 5PM (because they need to see some ID).
