The mixed drinks at Flatiron 1771 afford diners a taste of New York. (Yung nasa ‘States, hindi Cubao.) Parang malupit na inuman ’lang ng tropa mo, pero hindi sa garahe ng lola mo. (Speaking of Cubao…) Flatiron’s cocktail, The Big Apple, in particular, bears immediate discussion. This beverage wants to transport the drinker to Manhattan with its blended scotch, apple juice and lemon juice, and dash of nutmeg and cinnamon. The drink is sinewy and potent. Kumbaga, bawat lagok, ramdam ang sipa.
Syempre, this is not to say be wary of the drink. Fruit juice pa rin naman yung nangingibabaw, you just have to be watchful of the sipping. Dyahe na kung mayari pa ni boss kinabukasan. Nevertheless, while this beverage may be a tough-swallow for the untrained palate, it will be a treat for cocktail fans.
Flaitiron 1771 also added the following entrées on the menu: Smoked Salmon Pizza, Truffle Carbonara, Seafood Jambalaya, Chicken Keto Agliata, and the Prime Rib Steak.
The Chorizo and Cheddar Croquettes, Crunchy Fried Calamari, Potato Skins Platter, and Garlic Butter Potato Chips are just some of their yummy Small Plates offered. They can serve as appetizers or pulutan.
